Mouth sings with a funky guest voice at The Jazzhaus + Previews!

Last night the Jazzhaus got a big dose of funky electronic jams as Mouth played all night long with guest musicians sharing the stage and adding to the grooves. The bar was packed with good vibes and great people from start to finish.

The night started out with smooth, jazzy songs that built momentum and heated up the whole venue. As additional musicians joined the band, the music progressed into more dance-able funk and electronic tunes, drawing a growing crowd to the dance floor. By the second half of the show, the dance floor was filling up and the bar was rocking.

Mouth changed things up last night by playing with Jamie, of 3 Son Green, throughout the night, adding a touch more jam to the mix. The funky electronic band has always enjoyed a mix of structured songs and free-flowing improv, but this performance felt especially liberated.

In addition to that, Jimmy, of The Brody Buster Band, joined in for several songs. Jimmy's guitar added some soulful blues to the mix that expanded the whole band's sound.

And to top it all off, the later half of the show featured the beautiful vocals of Bayley, the lead singer from Ashes to Immortality. Her sonorous voice combined with the instrumentals for a full, eclectic harmony that packed the dance floor with party people.

Mouth has a reputation for throwing down excellent parties and last night reaffirmed the band's expertise in having a good time. If you missed out last night, do not despair! Mouth will be playing The Bottleneck December 27th!
